YOUTH SHELTER ADMINISTRATOR
Exciting position for a human services professional with interest in providing shelter services to area teens. Responsible for case management services, daily operations and staffing of an eight bed Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter located in Malta.
Position also includes some oversight of a Youth Street Outreach program.The right person should possess knowledge of area human service providers,
operating residential programs and working with an at-risk youth population.
Must be proficient at carrying out management responsibilities; supervising staff; completing reports with accuracy and efficiency;
and delivering quality services to youth and their families. Must be articulate, personable, dependable, and demonstrate
a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Bachelor’s degree required and five years experience in human services preferred. Must have clean NYS driver’s license and pass criminal background check. FT 37.5 hour/wk position with some flexible hours and paid on-call coverage one week per month.
